Delta Junction

We are in Alaska.  Delta Junction, at mile 1422 of the Alaskan Highway is the official end since there was already a highway from Delta Junction to Fairbanks.   Stopped at the Visitor Center to get a T-Shirt and they didn't have any.  We did find some big mosquitos.  They sure do grow them big here.

 

The Milepost marking the end of the Alaskan Highway.  We will now have better roads on our trip.  That is, until we return to lower 48.
